1993 Mazda FD Rx7 Turbo with only 37K Miles..
This 1993 Mazda RX-7 was first sold in Ohio and relocated to Illinois where it was acquired in September 1996 by the second owner who owned the car for 25 years.
- Our car is finished in Montego Blue Mica over a tan leather interior, Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, fog lights, and air conditioning, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a rear wiper, and a power antenna.
- The Paint is in good shape considering it is original and 30 years old. Paint meter shows 2-6mm paint thickness on all panels.
- There are some minor dents on the door and a few rock chips on the front fascia among other fine scratches common on an original paint car.
- Factory 16? five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/ 50 Michelin tires showing 2018 production codes.
- Braking power is provided by discs at all four corners.
- Bottom of the car is immaculate.
- The plating on the bolts are gorgeous, the jack points are all in tact and there is no rust.
- Interior is all original. The seating surfaces are upholstered in tan leather with a matching headliner, door panels, and carpets. Driver bolster shows some wear but is not cut torn ripped or soiled. Door cards show nicely and all power functions work as they should.
- Amenities include power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control.
- The air conditioning has been converted to R134a. and blows ice cold.
- The CD player is in-operable and the stereo does not play through the front speakers.
- A leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 180-mph speedometer.
- The digital odometer indicates 37k Miles.
- The twin-turbocharged 1. 3-liter Wankel rotary was factory rated at 255 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque.
- The PCM was repaired under a recall in 2000, and that the most recent oil change was performed in February 2021. A recent engine out service was performed with receipt. Engine out service included a full engine reseal and new OEM clutch. The car is completely stock except for a catless down pipe and a HKS cat back exhaust system.
- Both turbos engage as they should and the car pulls to redline without hesitation in each gear.
- Shifting is smooth and precise. There is no warning lights on in the cluster. At this time the car currently needs nothing but a new caretaker.
The car comes with a clean title, service receipts and clean car fax.
