Wonderful original early-production model 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS with 110620 kilometers on the odometer. The car retains its original 2. 9-liter V8 engine making 235 horsepower, 5-speed manual transmission, and factory red “Rosso Chiaro” paint. The car is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and can be enjoyed as-is for many years to come. The car passed Danish technical Inspection (MOT/ TUV/ Syn) in July 2020 and will not have to pass inspection until 2028. The car has a Danish title and papers and is coming out of Danish ownership.
A Certificate of Authenticity from Ferrari confirming chassis number, engine, equipment, original color, and build date (November 1978) is included in the sale.
The 308 GTS (Targa top) and 308 GTB (coupe) are the last carbureted Ferrari models produced before switching to fuel injection on the 308 GTSi/ GTBi in 1980.
