This is my lovely Imperial which I rescued from a collection a couple of years ago. At the time is wasn't starting, stopping or frankly doing much else!
Since then I've got her running, renovated the cooling system including a re-cored radiator, rebuilt the brakes so she now stops. and given her a VERY good clean!
But the job is not over. She still needs someone to carry on the work I've started. The structure of the car is extremely solid but the extremities are needing attention. The lower parts of the wings are bubbling and the rear lower quarters need work.
But she's a lovely car and the inside has a wonderful patina that in my opinon only adds to the car's appeal.
I should stress that this is not something that can be driven home - she needs more engine and gearbox work to ensure she is safe on the road. Also, none of the bushes have been touched underneath the car and they would need a thorough inspection.
But with a little effort and some time, she will make someone a terrific Humber. And she's so comfortable!!
