A very rare find. Genuine 71800 miles , starting its life in the uk before the next 2 owners “ brothers” in kincraig estate too ownership , spotted by current owners Brother whilst traveling south with its front end sticking out of a Scottish barn , enquired and purchased as a project in 2006 , It was then dry stored collecting required elements to carry out restoration.
It was in 2019 then the owner took ownership from his brother in aim to complete works , this G wagon then spent just over a year having all its body work cleaned stripped and prepped with all new Mercedes panels as required removing all rust before being painted in correct Mercedes black paintwork incing all merc seam sealant , then returned to owner for rebuild ,
Featuring what Mercedes call the High-Output 2. 3 litre fuel injected inline and single overhead cam 4 cylinder engine producing a peppy 125hp, mated to the rare manual gearbox
The engine runs smooth as expected for a low milage with engine oil , coolants all being cleaned and replaced with correct fluids….
Carperts all removed and Soundproofing added to floor plan before cleaned carpets replaced
Car has been rebuilt to provide a tasteful nod to the edition pur brought out in 2009 to celebrate G wagon class , this included , red callipers originals but powder coated , Red springs original but powder coated , upgraded koni suspension red , all Polly bushed red , this all maintains a solid but enjoyable ride.
