1936 Morris 8 Series 1 Four Seat Tourer
Ideal first pre-war car at just £8, 950
The replacement for the original Morris Minor, the Morris 8 made its debut in September 1934 and was to prove an instant success, putting Morris among the front runners in the small car class
Two and four seat tourers were available, along with two and four door saloons, with the tourers proving very popular with their attractive styling and up to the minute specification.
Offered here is a 1936 four seat tourer that had been in the present owner’s hands for the past 22 years. Restored some years ago, the Morris is in sound condition with good weather equipment and has become available due to the owner’s recent purchase of a Riley from us.
There are a few small jobs that require attention, and this represents an opportunity to acquire one of these ever popular prewar cars for a very modest sum.
There is a file of paperwork which includes an original Instruction Manual and information from The Morris Register. She also retains her original London registration number.
