EXTERIOR
The Phantom Black paintwork presents with a lovely shine following a machine polish by our in-house detailer. The car is nice and straight along both sides and remains free from any major dents or scratches. Being really picky there are a couple of discreetly touched-in blemishes and a handful of minor paint imperfections but nothing to detract from the RS’s overall impressive finish. A smart example in an attractive colour combination, looking great on freshly refurbished alloys, not to be missed.
INTERIOR
The sporty interior is trimmed in soft Silk Nappa leather, a fine upgrade over the standard black Alcantara. The Silver upholstery has worn well and shows only minor wear to the deeply supportive bolsters. Other commonly worn items such as the multifunction leather steering wheel are also well presented with only a few small marks to note along the aluminium centre console trim. All the carpets look really fresh, and in the footwells you’ll still find the original Audi overmats. The boot area is also very tidy with no scuffs or stains to be found.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
With its 2. 5-litre turbocharged engine the TT RS produces an impressive 335hp, capable of launching the car from 0-60mph in just 4. 5 seconds. Barely run-in with a mere 34k miles on the clock this low mileage example performs brilliantly on test, its slick manual gearbox a real joy to operate. The car has just returned from the workshop following a full mechanical health check and a fresh service. Mechanically spot-on, she’s good to go.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The factory-specified 19-inch wheels have just returned from a full refurb at Lepsons and so appear absolutely as new. They are wrapped in a matching set of Michelin tyres, all with at least 5mm of tread remaining. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition.
HISTORY FILE
The TT was first registered in May 2010. It was supplied new by Macclesfield Audi and has now driven only 34k miles in the hands of 6 registered keepers. Accompanying the car is the original Audi document wallet with all owner’s manuals, the stamped service booklet, a spare remote key, valet key, and a clear HPI report. Since arriving at 4 Star the car has been fully inspected and boasts a clean bill of health. It’s in first-rate mechanical condition and has also been serviced at the current mileage for the new keeper’s peace of mind.
