Description
1959 MGA MK1 Roadster UK Car and finished in British racing green with Biscuit tan interior.
The MGA is a sports car that was produced by MG from 1955 to 1962 and this particular one was built in 1959 and is a genuine RHD UK car. This car has only had 3 former keepers, the last one, a lady, since 2010.
The bodywork and paintwork are excellent as are the shut lines on all doors, boot and bonnet.
There is is no apparent blistering or rust on any panel of the car and as you can see from the photos, it presents itself extremely well. The interior has been re trimmed at some point in time to a very high standard which still looks extremely good today. Top compliment the interior, the Hood is the same Biscuit tan colour and again in very good condition. All side windows are present in there envelope and come with the car too.
This car drives extremely well and handles beautifully on the open road. The engine and gearbox are very smooth with good oil pressure observed. The engine temp is good with cooling aided by an automatic electric fan. All gears operate well with no noises with Syncro in all gears except first. The engine has been replaced at some point in its lifetime with a 1622cc engine where it enjoyed being driven and shown at many car events.
There is a history file that is comprehensive detailing all the work carried out by its previous and fastidious owners.
Any inspection is welcome and this car will come with a new MOT certificate, full tank of fuel and will be fully serviced ready to drive away! Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the UK and Europe at additional costs in a fully enclosed trailer.
