We have this very rare Talbot Samba Cabrio version of 1985 with 5-speed gearbox, tachometer and 98000 km to assets (probably original); A city car built by the PSA Group in France between 1981 and 1986, based on the Peugeot 104 mobile frame and marketed with the Talbot brand.
The car is fundamentally proposed in good general conditions, the bodywork does not show signs of oxidation or rust passing, present some physiological imperfections predictable by a preserved ever restored. Externally the car still seems quite sharp. The first paint shows very few signs of time wear and black mirrors, side finishes and bumper still seem to still all quite black, except for the damaged front bumper in the left corner. The front grille is starting to fade of color, as well as the various badges and in some places some petribus chips are evident to the plastics of the indicators.
All the gaskets of the window, roof and goalkeepers seem still healthy and flexible and show a few or no cracking sign.
The interiors are essential but in surprisingly good condition for their age: the fabric seats have not consumed excessively. The instrumentation and all commands seem to work properly. The goalkeeper panels look good and even the carpet has proposed in very good condition, while the dashboard records a lesion.
Currently the car mounts a non-original summer tension of red, but its original capote to be restored is also transferred.
Mechanically this is a very simple car to use and maintain. This model in particular is equipped with the most desirable 5-speed gearbox and a tachometer, suggesting that it is a samba with superior performance. Regular regular maintenance performed.
