A really good example of the highly desirable factory-built V8 MGB, very well finished in black as you can see, with black leather interior and Webasto sunroof, and having the benefit of a 5-speed gearbox. The car is in very good condition throughout, with good bodywork, pretty much unmarked paintwork and excellent mechanics. The engine is very strong and gives exhilirating performance, matched to its 5-speed gearbox, which is even better than having overdrive. The car stands on its original, and now quite rare, V8 wheels, which are well shod with matching quality Yokohoma tyres. The car was the subject of an extensive restoration some years ago, including bodywork and mechanics, and has been properly maintained since. Recent works include new Bilstein dampers all round, new K&Ns, new clutch and brake master cylinders, performance brake discs, stainless steel hoses and engine service. The underside of the car is good and clean, the engine bay is good – an all round very good car. Comes with V5C, Heritage Certificate, good history file and original handbook.
