1971 Rover P5B V8 Saloon
This car has been dry stored since 2013 and now being offered for light restoration. It appears sound in the usual areas that are prone to rust. There is some rust at the bottom of nearside rear door (pictured). Slight bubbling top of front wing. The interior will need some work. Front carpets are missing and seats would benefit from some attention.
The mileage is displaying 54225 miles although we cannot warrant this. We have spent a couple of hours on the car and had it running with a remote fuel feed. Engine sounds fine and gearbox engages the gears.
The brake pedal needs pumping but stops the car, so brakes will probably need inspection. It will need carbs cleaning and at the least a proper service. The choke cable needs replacing.
Basically its a sound car that could be back on the road without major work. It comes with a file of paperwork for previous expenditure, old tax discs and mot certificates and original handbooks. We can provide additional pictures upon request. Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the uk after cleared funds
