In 1978 UK sales of the 2 seater were approx. only 325, making this care a rare example by any standard.
With only 34157 original miles, in striking Grand Prix Red, this now rare example of the model is accompanied by its original tool rolls, jack and even wheel chocks.
There is also a set of period Enkie wheels which are available by separate negotiation.
The car has an extensive history file, that includes an early sales invoice, handbooks, sales literature, 34 tax discs and a copy of Classics magazine issue 75 which this actual Z was featured.
With an eye on long term preservation the first owner treated this beauty to Z Bar anti-corrosion, meaning today, 44 years later, this iconic, market-changing example of Japanese sports styling and manufacturing can be enjoyed as it came off the production line and for many years to come.
With prices in the US of similar quality 240Z’s making $300, 000, the 260Z will only continue to grow in prominence. Definitely one for the collector.
