We have recently imported another superb rust free Jaguar X300 series XJ6 from Japan.
This example is a 3. 2 Select automatic which is a very similar trim level to the 3. 2 Executive that was offered in the UK. DVLA registration has been granted and an 'N' registration has been allocated as it was first registered in July 1996. At the time of writing the mileage covered is 109400 kilometers which equates to just 68000 miles.
The file includes all the Japanese paperwork including book pack, service history, and inspection report. The MOT is until March 2023 with no advisories.
The colour combination is Spindrift White with Blue full leather. Specification includes 4 speed automatic transmission, air con, fully electrically adjustable front seats, heated front seats, rear sunblind, rear reading lights, ABS, trip computer and 16" 'Kiwi' alloys. Also present are the original carpet over mats, 2 keys, unopened toolkit and space saver spare wheel.
Our own preparation has so far included servicing the engine with new oil & filter, spark plugs and belts. We have also replaced the rear strut top mounts and shock absorbers along with some bushes and also fitted a set of new tyres.
To drive this XJ6 feels exactly how it should with relaxing ride comfort and precise handling and steering. The interior is wonderful with immaculate leather and wood trim along with a perfect headlining.
These Japanese version X300's are a superb buy due to having never been exposed to road salt and are usually low mileage. They are an excellent value for money modern classic purchase yet are now around quarter of a century old and on the cusp of becoming a lot more sought after, due to the simple fact that they are the last real Jaguar thanks to their traditional styling and straight 6 engines.
