A very rare high specification and in solid condition e300d multivalve diesel automatic.
In its previous life it was an airport taxi, and as such was very well maintained for most of its huge 445, 000 miles.
It is now a project car, the MOT having run out last year.
Unusually it has a lovely specification:

The cruise and a/ c don’t work, there is a replacement cruise controller in the car.
Soft close tailgate works, aeriel stuck up.
It starts and runs well, very smooth engine, it changes gear and actually seems pretty tight to drive. The SLS needs a new rear strut as it is clunking.
Body wise it’s very tidy for one of these, and seems solid. There’s one rusty rear arch but other than that it’s good. I haven’t been underneath, but the inner rear arches seem ok, as does under the rear windows. The area under the washer bottle hasn’t been welded before, but looks like it’ll need it soon (no hole though).
It’s a very worthwhile project, and to get it through an MOT feels like not a massive job.
