This Jaguar XJ40 is an original Dutch car with 171. 100 km and 3 registered owners. The car has damage to the front right and needs a new head gasket.
The body is in very clean condition, original paint with no signs of rust damage on the outer body panels. Light damage to the front right and a visible touch up area on the rear right wheel arch. The paint is in great condition for its age, but would benefit from a light polish. The underbody needs some attention. Areas affected by rust and needing repair work are the front left jacking point, a small section of the front left floor board, inner closing plate of the left rear sill and a spot on the lower centre of the right hand sill panel.
The beige leather interior is in excellent condition, with only light wear on the driver's seat. The wood veneer on the centre console ash tray is damaged. Factory original radio, 2 keys, all manuals and tools are included.
It runs and drives nicely, but would need a new head gasket, combined with replacement of rubber valve seals. A general service check up is advised. The car is sold without a battery.
