1976 Triumph Stag MK II 3. 0 V8 Automatic. Java Green with Beige Ambla upholstery and black mohair hood. This lovely Stag has been with its last keeper for 9 years, had only 4 previous owners during its lifetime, some 46 years and covered just 88, 000 miles. Restored in 2003 and very well cared for since the Triumph has been lavished by the last keeper over the past decade and has enjoyed many classic car shows and events. The paintwork presents very well and the upholstery very clean and tidy. The hood and frame are in great condition and operating correctly. The engine bay is nicely detailed and the engine recently receiving a retune and running sweetly with the correct oil pressure and fitted with an electric fan. A large history folder accompanies the car containing many bills and invoices detailing the restoration work including one for an engine rebuild, and has covered just 5, 000 miles since. A large amount of old mot certificates also on file. The underside of the car is just as good with a very solid chassis and strong mechanicals. Although now tax and mot exempt the car has always been mot’d regularly and a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. The driving experience of a Triumph Stag is one every classic enthusiast must enjoy at least once.
