The GT16 is a further development of the GT. The GT was one of the first touring bikes with rear suspension. Thanks to Carlo Guzzi's brilliant technical solution, his GT motorcycles were superior to the competition and were considered very comfortable and robust. The GT16 was introduced in 1931. It got the same engine as the Sport15 and was also equipped with a saddle tank. A total of 754 copies were made.
The offered GT16 is in an excellent restored condition. A very rare motorcycle in this gentleman driver's version with chrome tank, speedometer and clock. Engine is completely overhauled with new crankshaft and pistons. Optically perfect and technically flawless, it drives the same way. An absolute contemporary witness from the more than 100-year history of Moto Guzzi.
