Here at Old Colonel Cars, the Classic and Performance Car Agency, we have an absolutely amazing example of the BMW E24 635 CSI Highline. This October 1988 example is finished in Diamond Schwartz Black with Grey Leather and has covered 98, 000 Miles.
This BMW is currently on Irish plates, but will go back on UK plates if sold in UK (Originally a UK car, old plate E24 DOD). If this car sells to a customer in Ireland or Europe, there is no VAT to pay, saving around 10, 000 Euros ....
I have had the pleasure of testing this beautiful car, this 635 drives and performs perfectly. The straight six engine is super smooth and sounds fantastic. The gearbox / suspension / brakes all feel very fresh.
You will not find a better example, its superb. I have sold this car to the last 2 owners, I know ownership on this car going back 20 years. This 635 benefits from a fully documented service history. A thick, well organised A4 folder full of all old MOT’s, service receipts etc plus fully stamped original service book / spare keys etc.
This car has always been cared for correctly, it has has always been garaged when not in use, fully cleaned and detailed before putting away under a dust cover.
The bodywork and paintwork are in excellent condition. Look closer, there is no rust to be found, check the usual areas, wheel arches, sills, jacking points, floor pans, inner front and rear wings, sunroof all solid metal, very rare to find in this condition.
This is one of the last E24’s, with the sought after Highline option. So you get the much better looking body coloured bodywork with wheel arch extensions etc, along with the extra quality leather that seems to extends everywhere, electric seats, door cards / dash / even roof lining. The condition is excellent and all works as it should.
A lovely touch is the period looking Blaupunkt stereo, which is actually a Blaupunkt Breman DAB radio with the retro look, all works perfectly, as does the BMW electric aerial.
This BMW features the original BBS alloys with the correct tyres, all in excellent condition.
The service history is excellent, 24 service stamps, all by either BMW main dealers or 1 well respected BMW specialist. The owner has jas had this car serviced, earlier this year by BMW main dealer ready for sale.
If you are genuinely looking for one of the best classic 6 Series BMW, this Highline must be seen.
