We previously had a running issue that took some time to get to the bottom of, so if you enquired about this lovely old girl during that period, please do get back in touch.
Essentially, she had an intermittent starting issue when up to temperature. Initially, we suspected the Air Flow Meter, but after purchasing three replacements without success, our attention turned to the ECU.
We had the original ECU reconditioned, but unfortunately the problem persisted. We then went through three sets of injectors, again without success!
As it turns out, the ECU was the culprit all along! Having now fitted a replacement unit, I'm delighted to say she starts and runs beautifully.
A stunning example of an iconic German classic, boasting exceptionally low mileage with the history to back it up.
Finished in beautiful Metallic Moonstone with a full black leather interior, she presents exceptionally well throughout for a car of her age.
She retains her period-correct head unit, while the black number plates and yellow headlight lenses give her a lovely individual look that really suits the car.
Accompanying her is a comprehensive folder of paperwork, including recent receipts, old MOT certificates, the original service book, book pack and owner's manuals.
A true pleasure to drive, and a wonderful example of BMW's legendary E24 6 Series.
