Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5
Currently SORN with no MOT. Will require trailering.
Bad Points -
No rear shocks attached. Mountings corroded/ broken away. In need of welding around rear spring/ shock mountings (See pictures) Ideally a new quarter chassis fitting or area cutting out and fabricated.
Drivers door strap has pulled out causing crease in outer door skin from door swinging open. Opens/ closes no problem still.
Front sun roof has been sealed closed
Good Points -
Other than noted area, rest of chassis is solid, no further rot.
Drive train works flawlessly. High & Low range box operates smoothly and quietly.
Prop/ drive shafts & U Joints were recently regreased prior to being SORN
Engine runs flawlessly. Pulls great in all gears. Has tuning box fitted to ECU harness. Has added poke on boost and fantastic economy when kept on minimal boost.
Snorkel fitted. Spot lamps fitted. CB Radio fitted with detachable antenna.
Due to upcoming work commitments and current projects, work cant be carried out by myself this side of summer. Will only deteriorate if left, hence offering of sale. Open to sensible offers. Thanks.
