EXTERIOR;
Audi have forged a unique reputation in creating performance estate variants since the introduction of the RS2 back in 1995. It however took them nearly 20 years to apply the same focused product mentality to their SUV line with the creation of the RSQ3. Fittingly finished in a classic RS shade first available on the iconic RS4 this example is covered in a glossy coat of Misano Red (N9N9) that is rich and consistent across the bodywork. The front end is extremely clean with only a few tiny marks commensurate with age and mileage, pointing to a careful and fastidious ownership. With the black grills taking up a lot of space on the front bumper and large side intakes this looks every bit the part of it's RS designation and heritage.
Matte aluminium provide an outline to the design shapes circling the window surrounds, roof rails and mirrors among other details around the body that set the base for the RS styling heritage, all of which remain fresh, clean and in excellent condition.
INTERIOR;
The fit and finish of the modern day Audi is well known as being the market leader and the cabin here is true to that, solid in feel, design and luxury materials in which all show with minimal wear. The RSQ3 sports seats display its badge proudly and are stitched in grey. Subtle touches and RS badges around the interior also promote its heritage along with the carbon interior inlays gives this Q3 the full RS treatment.
The flat bottomed steering wheel adds to the sporting and luxurious feel while the carpets, gearbox tunnel and entry strips are pleasingly free of marks with all switchgear in excellent condition and in fine operational order.
ENGINE;
The characteristics of the Inline 5 cylinder TFSI used in this RS3 and RSQ3 is what is asked of any RS car, with power at 306bhp and a plenty of revs to a maximum of 6, 700rpm indicate the potential of the 2. 5L litre power unit, made further more spectacular with the addition of a huge amount of torque for this era of RS car, something that previous generations of naturally aspirated RS models have not experienced.
With a full Audi service history and having recently received a full major service with Audi it confirms the cars excellent maintenance and current condition. The 7 Speed S-Tronic gearbox changes gears with precision and speed and is fully adaptable along side engine mapping and steering weight allowing this RSQ3 to be a docile, quiet and comfortable everyday machine or to transform into a sports purpose brute and hooligan.
WHEELS;
20" 5 arm rotor alloy design wheels in titanium finish are in excellent condition with Pirelli P Zero Tyres dated (01/ 20) showing plenty of tread left.
Fitted with the Black Painted RS Callipers the brakes are in perfect working order.
