Description

This particular V8 was Aston Martin’s project development car and was used to develop certain features of the 1977 model. The car was then used by Aston Martin as a demonstrator at the prestigious Sloane Street Showrooms in London and loaned to the Duke of Westminster in 1977 whilst he was awaiting the delivery of his Lagonda.

Features include upgraded suspension plus Vantage front spoiler, driving lights, radiator grill and a full Vantage exhaust system in stainless steel. The front suspension was also upgraded to the Vantage system for better road holding.

This car also underwent restoration work by Aston Workshop in the past, including:
-Full bare metal re-spray.
-Chassis checked and fully re-furbished.
-Reconditioned and upgraded suspension including adjustable dampers, rear anti roll bars and all new bushes.
-AP Racing brake upgrade.
-New stainless steel exhaust assembly.
-Engine bay refurbished and detailed (colour coded).
-Air con overhauled.
-Full re-trim in black hide with carpets and new steering wheel.
-Re-furbished all wiring and electrics plus HID headlamps fitted.
-Becker radio with iPod connectivity.
-Tracker fitted with Cobra alarm.

This superb hand-built Aston also comes complete with an excellent history/ service file including a selection of documented MOTs.

On the open road, performance is as just as expected from a well maintained classic Aston Martin V8.
