Thunder in the Glen, or Rumble in the Jungle is the cliché that comes to mind when this stunning V8 bursts into life! A late Series V EFi run out model, believed only 43 built in RHD and just 17 in LHD. The Weber Marelli fuel injection system allows the engine to produce 305 BHP, making the car so much easier to live with than earlier models, delivering the power in a more precise and balanced manner. Bought new in February 1989 by a partner in the London property firm, Weatherall, Green and Smith on Chancery Lane. Although having covered a low mileage from new, there are not many that hasn’t suffered from the inner sills and chassis corrosion. There are excellent comprehensive detailed invoicing and photos on file recording these rectification works along with detailed service invoicing and previous MOT, s. All carried out by the proper Aston people namely Aston Works Service, Aston Engineering, Nicholas Mee and Post Vintage Engineering. In the latter 10 years or so, the car has been part of a private collection, carefully stored and taken out mainly for servicing and MOTs.
