With its front mounted V8 matched to a transaxle gearbox via carbon fibre prop-shaft, the Vantage benefits from exact 50/ 50 weight distribution and provides the driver with a hugely rewarding experience. Together with demonstrating its credentials through countless competition wins in both GT and Endurance championships, the Vantage also ensured Aston Martins reputation for competition success would remain firmly in place.
The increased specification of the Vantage S includes an engine performance upgrade to 430bhp together with adaptive sports suspension, sports exhaust and carbon fibre front and rear diffusers all providing a more focused experience over the standard model.
Finished in a desirable colour combination, the immaculate Meteorite Silver paintwork is complemented with luxurious and hand crafted Obsidian Black leather interior completed with contrasting Galena Silver coarse stitching, black carpets and black convertible hood.
This 2016 Model Year example features the later revised dashboard arrangement with touch sensitive controls finished in exposed satin-twill carbon fibre. Together with further optional extras which include piano black door pulls and Apple Car Play, I had the pleasure of supplying this Vantage S Roadster to its first keeper and the car today remains in excellent condition throughout.
