here we have my 1995 (m reg) bmw e38 740i, finished in oxford green.

these cars ran from 94-01 so this is one of the earlier models which means it has the more reliable 4. 0 engine opposed to the troublesome 4. 4. in its 27 years it’s had just 3 careful previous owners.
1st owner: 1995-2006
2nd owner: 2006-2012
3rd owner: 2012-2022
as you can see each individual was a long term owner and the car has benefited from this massively as it hasn’t been ran on a shoe string budget like most examples.
the car is just over 114k. I’ve driven and owned quite a few e38s now but this is the best one by far. It is super clean and you can tell no expense has been spared.
mechanically, the car asks for nothing it has been meticulously maintained and is an absolute dream to drive. The gear box is silky smooth and the suspension is all tight, it’s literally like driving on air and you’d never expect it to be 27 years old!
it recently went through mot and it’s benefited from a full service, new fuel lines and new brake lines.
cosmetically, the car is in pristine condition and has just undergone a full stage 1 machine polish and paint correction detail. This has really made the beautiful oxford green pop. As you can see in the pictures the number plates are off as it had a new set fitted to match the exquisite condition of the exterior. The car has the ever so sought after polished m-parallel wheels fitted to it which are alone worth £1200+ these are in excellent condition also with minimal curbing. Of course it’s an old car so it’s not perfect and does have the odd stone chip but other than it truly is clean as a whistle.
the interior is in bmw grey and it’s truly a beautiful place to be in. There’s plenty of room and you can seriously feel the build quality of bmws flagship model. The seats and interior as a whole are in sublime condition but the seats are especially impressive as there is hardly any wear on them!
bad points:
-driver side rear window regulator needs changing.
-sunroof opens and closes fine but doesn’t tilt.
-unfortunately it has been written off as cat n as the catalytic converters we’re stolen and it was marked as vandalism. (have proof to show buyer)
as you can tell these are very minuet things which i never got around to doing in my ownership or don’t really affect the car. Other than that the car is absolutely sound.
the car is priced accordingly no timewasters or dreamers this is an appreciating future classic and your not getting a 740i in better condition than this.
