Bought as a project in August 2016, this Wrangler has the original engine & gearbox and has literally thousands of £'s spent on mechanical, chassis repairs & upgrades! Most of the work carried out by Jeep expert Greg McAllen from 4 play jeep and carried out to a very high standard using only genuine. U. S & Canadian parts.
The interior is tidy and original.
100's of photos on a memory stick taken of repairs in progress. All bills and detailed descriptions of repairs, all in a folder. 2 keys. The engine runs beautifully and uses no oil.
Numerous mechanical repairs over the last 6 years include:
Complete Front and back Diff rebuilt.
Complete rebuild of rear brakes with new drums, springs & cylinders etc. Complete rebuild & upgrade of front brakes, discs, callipers etc.
New wheel bearings and new UJ’s.
New steering track rod & tie rod, track rod ends & track rod link end & steering damper replaced.
Rebushed with poly bushes throughout.
New sump pan & fuel tank skid plate, New radiator & water pump & superflow thermostat and housing fitted. Ancillary drive belt replaced.
Most engine core plugs replaced.
New Cat fitted.
Chassis repairs carried out and more.
31" wheels with Goodyear wrangler tyres, 2" lift. Opening Bestop sun rider roof, Pro comp Rock crawler street lock wheels, Banks stainless steel cat back exhaust, new fender flares. Replaced stock bumpers back & front. New fuel tank skid plate, 7x Rugged Ridge LED spot lamps fitted. Performance chip fitted, Banks Ram air filter fitted, Wax oiled and more.
On the down side:
Some corrosion under the paint work on front offside wing and on the top of the nearside wing, rear quarter panel & on windscreen surround. (See photos.)
