Introduction
Here at Old Colonel Cars, we are delighted to have a stunning and very rare Alpina B3 3. 3, number 009. This April 2000 example has covered only 76, 000 miles. 1 of only 90 UK cars produced, in fact 1 of only 275 produced worldwide.
Finished in Titanium Silver with a full Black Montana extended leather interior, this example is in excellent condition throughout. The last 3 owners of this car have been BMW club members, this car has been cherished and taken to shows etc. It really is an outstanding example, with the Alpina bodywork, it really gives this car presence and a great stance.
I am sure if you are in the market for one of these, you will read all the reviews and specs on the Alpina B3’s. In summary Alpina went all round this model, making performance improvements to engine / gearbox / brakes / suspension / wheels etc. Then they turned their attention to the bodywork and interior, adding Alpina style and subtle improvements where needed. This Alpina B3 package gives you lots of extra performance and gives you the feeling you are driving something special every time you take it out.

Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork on this example is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic, option code 354. As with all Alpinas, the paintwork seems to have that extra depth of shine. Look closer, no noticable dings or dents, all solid arches etc. This car has been used to show and its ready to be parked on display now, it looks superb.
Inside this car is in Montanna Black with polished wood trim. This is all in excellent condition throughout. Lots of Alpina touches in here, this example is all original throughout and has been looked after perfectly.
The 18inch Alloys look superb and are all in excellent condition.
Engine / Gearbox
This Alpina uprated 3. 3 straight six engine produces 280 BHP and will happily rev to 7200 RPM. Its has very sharp throttle response and a lovely exhaust note. Its a lovely package, a lovely responsive car to drive.
This example features the 5 speed ‘Switchtronic’ gearbox, This has been reworked by Alpina to produce faster changes and give you the option of using the buttons on the steering wheel to change gear or drive in fully automatic mode.
History
We have a lovely, fully documented service history. We have all the original manuals, an original fully stamped service book, original Alpina leather wallet, original Alpina supplement manuals, a folder full of old MOT’s and service receipts.
It also benefits from a full VOSA mot history and a full HPI clear report including mileage verification.
Summary
The car is MOT’d until October 2022, no advisories.
