The Humber Sceptre was the pinnacle of the Roots range of sporty family cars back in their heyday. The Sceptre was designed to lend a little bit of America’s bold 1950s styling to the British and European market, giving rise to the wraparound window and the flared fins at the back, and together with the bold double headlights and amplitude of chrome the Sceptre was a car anyone was proud to own.
Craner Classics have pleasure in offering this 1964 Humber Sceptre Mk1 wrap around rear window model. The car is finished in the very striking and desirable pale blue over white paintwork.
The interior of the car complements the exterior two tone paintwork very well with the seats and door cards finished in a lovely pale blue/ black carpets and a good headlining. The chromework is in good condition.
The car is showing 48, 162 miles on the odometer and the first owner had the car from new for 52 years until 2016, with just a further 2 owners since.
It comes complete with a large amount of service and parts invoices, old motor insurance documents, along with the Humber Sceptre Owners Handbook.
This car is finished in a very striking colour combination and together with its excellent condition, we expect interest levels to be high of this very desirable model.
