A particularly smart and lightly refurbished example of the opulent limited-edition P38-era SUV, created in collaboration with esteemed British gunmaker, Holland and Holland.
Under the bonnet sits the 4. 6-litre Rover V8 engine, with four-wheel drive through a four-speed automatic gearbox.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This Holland and Holland Edition Range Rover is one of only 400 examples built, and is finished in Tintern Green, with Saddle Tan and dark brown leather upholstery accented by tan piping and handsome burr walnut ‘gunwood’ trim with sterling silver inlays.
It rides on the correct set of 18-inch alloy wheels, finished in silver with Tintern Green accents
Factory equipment includes satellite navigation, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, electric windows, air conditioning and fold-down picnic tables for the rear passengers.
Its original owner’s manuals will be included, along with evidence of a full service history.
CONDITION
There has been no known bodywork damage.
The bumpers have been resprayed to rectify some light stone chips and scuffs, and the wheels have also been refurbished.
Inside, there is some age-related creasing on the seat bases and bolsters, but the leather upholstery is otherwise in excellent shape. The wood is faded and would require refurbishing
The satnav screen has pixelated, the stereo is not working.
SUMMARY
This P38-era Holland and Holland Edition Range Rover is a charming limited-run collaboration with a unique and appealing factory specification. One of only 400 examples ever built, it would now make a great addition to a collection of lesser-seen SUVs, though could also make an eminently usable and refined daily driver for its next owner.
