2009 Aston Martin DBS Manual 6. 0 V12 Coupe
A car that truly needs no introduction. Without question the most iconic Aston Martin of the Noughties, the DBS. This car brought life to the slightly lacklustre DB9, the DBS was everything that the DB9 should have been out of the box. More aggressive styling, more power and a totally better car to drive overall. Most importantly, Aston finally found a way to make that thunderous V12 sing, and boy can it! The car was an instant success for Aston Martin, especially with a certain Mr Bond favouring one such car in Casino Royale (2006).
Being something of an exclusive car when new, Aston Martin produced just 2, 534 DBS Coupes in total. Just 984 of those cars benefitted from the manual gearbox option, and, rarer still, only around half of those cars were Right Hand Drive like this car, making this a very sought after car indeed.
This DBS was ordered new in the striking Storm Black, which glistens in the light thanks to oversized golden metallic particles in the paint. It was specified with the 2+0 seating configuration, the more desirable option today as the 2+2’s rear seats were practically redundant and ate into the front cabin’s legroom space.
Thankfully, this car also had optioned the must-have, mind bending Bang & Olufsen sound upgrade. This system was a technological revolution at the time of launch and even by today’s standards is beyond impressive and akin to the Naim speakers now fitted to new Bentleys etc.
This DBS was purchased by its most recent and third owner from Harwoods Aston Martin in October 2014 with 28, 100 miles on the clock. During their almost 8 year ownership, they have covered around 13, 000 miles in the car mainly on long distance driving trips.
Testament to their attention to detail, love and care, this DBS presents outstandingly well today. Throughout the course of their ownership, the car has been stored under a cover in a climate controlled garage that they had purposefully built for the car. The paintwork is immaculate having undergone full paint correction in 2018 which was then protected by clear Xpel front end Paint Protection Film (PPF) and crystal Xpel Ceramic Coating serum. The interior is in excellent condition. The wheels are in perfect condition and had new Pirelli P Zeros tyres just 500 miles ago.
The car currently has no issues mechanically, cosmetically or electronically. All issues that have arisen over the course of the cars life have been quickly resolved by either Aston Martin themselves or reputable Aston Martin specialists. All such work is fully documented in the car’s extensive service folder. Notable repairs over recent years include a clutch kit change and new spark plugs and coils.

We are sure that this is one of the best examples of a manual DBS Coupe to come to market in recent years. The care this car has received throughout its life makes it the perfect get in and go example for its next custodian.
As with all of our vehicles, we have a digital folder available on request containing more images, walkaround videos, pictures of the underside and scans of the service history. The car can be viewed by appointment at our West London showroom.
