A very rare chance to obtain a significant part of Marcos history. The LM was designed to be Marcos’s return to racing, building upon the highly successful Mantara, and following on from the unveiling of the racing LM, a road going version was soon launched. Marcos didn’t hesitate to fill their orderbooks and start building these ‘racing cars for the road’ in limited numbers.
This particular Marcos is finished in Subaru Blue, with the increasingly rare and sought after 18 inch Dymag alloy wheels. The 4 litre rover V8, recently rebuilt, is fitted with a new Emerald ECU and modern coil packs, providing trustworthy reliability whilst still making all of the right noises and plenty of power. Other details include: a 5 speed manual gearbox with the optional short shifter, cream leather with blue suede interior, recent Protech dampers all around as well as replacement chassis sills and aluminium floors added by us at Redline around 10 years ago, hydraulic power steering, electric windows, electric pedal adjustment, electric mirrors, heated windscreen, JVC sound system.
