1960 Austin-Healey Sprite Mk 1
Information supplied states that this Austin Healey Sprite was completed on 15th February 1960 and despatched to main agents Wimbledon Motors. It was subsequently sold by Paget Automobiles (Cheam) Surrey on 16th March.
Having passed though several owners, the Sprite underwent a complete renovation in 1992, whereupon the original 948cc engine was replaced with a slightly later 1098cc unit.
Since that time the car has resided in Cornwall and it was to undergo further major work during 2015 by Brooklands Garage in Truro, including an engine rebuild.
At this time a bare metal repaint was carried out in the Sprite colour of Iris Blue and the petrol tank was replaced and a new hood fitted along with attention to various cosmetic items.
The Sprite is presented in excellent order with very good panel fit. It has a list of previous owners dating back to 1974, along with many previous MOT certificates and service history from 2008-2015.
