1976 Land Rover Series III 2. 5 Petrol
This Truck Cab Landy has undergone a fully nut and bolt rebuild using a new Marsland galvanised chassis, these alone cost £2900. The rebuilt took over 2 years to complete and has been done to a very high standard.
Stunning Bronze green paintwork, lots of new panels/ doors etc that all fit perfectly, new floor and rails to the load area, rear tub and wing tops still show the spot welds all in correct places.

Fairey overdrive and free-wheeling hubs, full adjustable tow pack, tonneau cover, snorkel, fabric headlining, door cards with pockets, deluxe vinyl seats with centre seat and seatbelts, Land Rover sound-deadening rubber floor mat, sun visor, Bluetooth remote radio system, front headlamp stone guards, rear lens covers, bonnet mounted spare wheel, Hi-lift jack mounted in load area. Also included in the sale is a canvas tilt top, which is great for the summer.
Drive train:
Fitted with the later 2. 5 (17H) engine which came in the early 90's, 83hp engine, mated to the 4 speed transmission with Fairey overdrive. The v5 logbook states the correct engine being fitted with the correct engine number.
History:
Good history file containing receipts, bills for earlier servicing and a selection of old MOT's dating back to 1993. On completion of restoration a new speedo head was purchased and mileage set at 0. Current mileage is 1, 403miles.
