1971 Fiat 500 L. Factory white with tan upholstery. Designed by Dante Giacosa, the Fiat 500 was produced between 1957 and 1975 with limited production of the Fiat 500K estate continuing until 1977. Measuring only three metres long and originally powered by a tiny 479cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term 'small car' and is considered one of the first city cars. Despite its diminutive size, the 500 proved to be an enormously practical and popular car throughout Europe, capturing the hearts and minds of the public. The 'L' or Lusso was manufactured between 1968 and 1972 and featured a much more up to date interior including a renewed dashboard that gave the 500 a more modern feel. This charming Fiat has been with its last lady owner for 22 years, owning initially in Italy and then bringing to the U. K when she moved here in 2018. On arrival it was sent to an Italian specialist where £1800 was spent converting and registering the car for U. K roads as well as general maintenance. A really iconic car that is great fun to drive and a real head turner that can’t fail to put a smile on your face. The Fiat comes with a small history file that contains the original Italian registration document. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind.
