Ducati 996 SPS – Year 2000. Limited Edition number 1532 which is one of the last with the upgraded engine and suspension. Low mileage at 10,*** miles.
This was the flagship of the Ducati range and morphed into a 996R after the production run. This was the most expensive production bike on sale in 2000 at around £18k (£34k in today’s money). Owned by me for 5+ years and ridden on special occasions when the weather is fine, this example is in really beautiful condition and is a real show-stopper wherever it goes. Mine is a UK example which was sold new by ProTwins and registered from new with model specific plate X3 SPS. Protwins confirmed to me that the first owner never took the bike on track. Subsequent owners seem to have looked at the bike rather than ridden it! It has not been modded with extra carbon tat or had all the metal polished. Genuine, rare, original uk bike.
