This rare 1994 Porsche 968 Sport is finished in eye-catching Iris Blue Metallic and is in very original condition, inside and out. The interior has the correct Sport black fabric seats.
The amazing thing about this Porsche is the amount of money and attention that has been lavished on it over the last five years. There’s too much to list but of note are; new clutch and dual-mass flywheel plus slave and master cylinders and pipes; new brake discs and pads, new handbrake shoes, new front anti-roll bar bushes and drop links followed by a geometry check at Porsche Portsmouths; new Michelin Sport 2 N3 tyres and new OEM wheel nuts; new timing belts, chains and tensioners; new power steering pump, reservoir and hoses; new water pump, radiator and fan sensor; new speedometer and odometer; new temperature and fuel gauge; front end respray; and much more. All the work is fully documented, along with routine servicing. The car is due a service now, so we shall do that before it is sold.
The 968 Sport was a UK-only model that was essentially a mix of Club Sport and standard 968. It had the Club Sport’s lowered ride height, uprated suspension and some of its reduced specification, but added some ‘luxuries’, such as central locking, alarm, electric windows and mirrors, rear seats and electric boot release. This example has twice been featured in GT Porsche magazine and copies of these are included.
