Dax Cobra 427 5. 7 V8 De-Dion
We have been commissioned by our client to sell this superb example of the Dax 427 Cobra. Superbly finished in Candy red - Burgundy metallic with silver stripe, 18” Hallibrand split rim alloy wheels to side chrome pipes and detailed with chrome. Makes for a stunning Cobra.
The interior is completed with cream leather seats to cream leather dash surround with chrome and black detailed dials, all completed with red and cream piped carpets.
The Cobra comes with Power steering - Tannoy cover - Soft top roof and frame - Hard top roof - Car cover - Chevy 350 Side exhaust system - Twin chrome roll bars - Alarm immobiliser - Private plate to mention a few
This is a superb build and has been built with no expense spared. We have all the receipts for the build most parts were supplied by DJ Dax cars. The build took place in 2011 and was built using the best parts available by Dax. Built on the Tojeiro rolling chassis Body De dion chassis this set up is over 10k. The gearbox is a Tremec TKO600 5 Speed. Engine supplied by Huddart a Huddart racing 1978 Fully reconditioned Chevrolet 350 5. 7 LTR V8 Producing 400 BHP. The build list of parts is present and comes in at way over 40k This is excluding the man hours to build. The build quality is excellent throughout.
The Cobra has just come back from a service and recommission where any items that needed attention were addressed along with 4 New Perrelli tyres P700.
The cobra comes with 2 Sets of keys a very large file of history and paperwork from the build.
