Classic rhd Jeep Cherokee (XJ model) from 1998. The 2. 5 litre Diesel engine + 5 speed manual gearbox gives decent MPG (albeit in US mpg). Normally rear wheel drive with selectable 4wd (+ low ratio) so really does work off road. Happily towed horse trailer with 15 hand horse.
The Jeep was US car maker's first attempt to join European market. See car next to Range Rover for scale, this is just car sized so easy to park and navigate smaller roads.
No frill interior with blue checked cloth seats, decent condition no holes. All the buttons work, power windows smooth and fast. All tyres have good tread, MOT will be renewed when due so buyer likely to get 11/ 12 months.
Handsome car from 10 paces with Tonka toy looks. The slowest car I own but most fun to drive. Of course after 24 years use there are dings and scratches, but I drive country lanes so my new car has similar. Used as second car and enjoy classic insurance for £120
MOT will be renewed 7th November 2022. Not expecting any issues.
