Description

THIS is my 1967 Morris Minor Traveller in Almond Green. Just last year she was given some serious love and attention. She was treated to a brand new Ash frame, four new floor pans and new front wings (ESM Minor parts), a new braking system, new fuel tank and carpets. There was more but they are probably the major parts for this Traveller. She has also had new valves and hardened exhaust seats.

Yes, she looks well and the new woodwork really sets her off. Even the interior is excellent with light green seats in superb condition.

She has a delightful feel on the road too. As ever, I endeavour to make my prices among the best - if not THE best in the UK. You will see them being offered for up to twice as much as mine. I think some of the paint finish could be improved and there looks to be too much paint on some areas of the roof. I will be reflecting these minor matters in my asking price. She is not pretending to be in that 15k-plus bracket and instead is available at £6995. Context is all as they say. Measure her by her asking price and not against an example which is for sale for twice the price. I had a garage look her over and they came up with one small point. There is a small, extremely thin area a few inches long beneath the driver's seat where the new floor section meets the sill. It is a really small gap which they recommend should have a piece of metal let in. At the moment black seam sealer is there. Simple enough task, of that that there is no doubt. However I no longer have a welding facility.

Grab yourself a bargain here as Traveller prices have gone stark raving mad and I do not hold with that! No offers at this price.

My classic cars are motoring antiques. Please do not confuse them with your one-year-old Range Rover. This car, for example, is 55-years-old and so will have quirks and faults in there somewhere. These are not always apparent when buying and selling classics which is what I do. I do not restore them, nor do I pretend that they are concours cars. The majority of them go out as they came in, and I continue to enjoy finding more - a skill which is becoming increasingly difficult as many of you will be aware. They deserve to be taken on as "family pets" and cared for through thick and then. They don't make them any more and demand now out-strips supply. Please bear all this in mind, and enjoy your classic car. I can also assist with delivery and so please ask for a quote.

I have now been established as a one-man band classic car dealer for 20 years and pride myself on my buying prowess and - due to small margins - my prices which I firmly believe are up there among the very best in the UK classic car marketplace.
