Lovely Morris Minor 1960 948cc 2-door in very good condition. I have owned this car since 1995. The car was previously owned by two other people from our area. We bought the Minor from the local garage who had purchased the car from a person in our village.
The car has a low mileage but we do not have the full-service history or other documentation to evidence this. Anecdotally we were told the original odometer failed when the car reached 10K miles and the original owner replaced the odometer with the one now in the car. The mileage is 21, 802 miles
The Minor was fully restored in 1995 when we first bought it; this work was completed by a very experienced mechanic who has restored other classic cars. The restoration included two new wings and the chassis is sound. The Minor was run for a couple of years as my everyday car and then put into storage where it remained until last year. The Minor was then recommissioned in early 2026.
The recommissioning included a full service, new battery, some upholstery repairs but the Minor does have its original interior which is in good condition, the brakes have been overhauled and two new tyres.
The Minor is a beautiful Clipper Blue. The car runs beautifully and is very spacious and comfortable to drive. The Minor features original interior, apart from the carpets which have just been replaced.
The Minor does have trafficators which were disabled and indicator lights replaced (as no one seems to look for trafficators in traffic now!). The trafficators could be reinstated if required.
