According to the Jaguar heritage certificate, this car was manufactured on the 18th July 1960 as a 3. 4 MOD car in Black with red trim. Chassis number 152061DN. Its original distributor was Rossleigh in Newcastle upon Tyne and was dispatched on the 26th July 1960. Its original registration number was ECU345 and retains this number today. This car is Matching numbers and its original colour spec and is one of the best Mk2s i have driven for ages. The car has been out of the country for quite sometime and we have just repatriated it back in from Sweden. As an early car it has managed to retain its original recessed sun visors which is very rare to find today. Its a stunning example of an early Mk2 which is a delight to drive and very useable on classic cars trips etc. Please contact us for more information.
