If you are looking to buy a Silver Shadow you would be hard pushed to find a better example, at any price. Not only does the motorcar come with a huge file of maintenance bills from its time in the USA, which demonstrates meticulous service, it has also received the upgraded front suspension system with new Bilstein long reach shocks (as per factory from 1969), new driver window motor + solenoid and other works since arriving in the UK. Beautifully finished in Caribbean blue with navy blue Everflex roof, blue/ grey hide, Ambassador blue carpets and the stunning Chippendale Dash. At some point the motorcar ended up in the USA and comes complete with invoices amounting to over US $31, 000 for various works and maintenance, to keep the motorcar in excellent condition. The motorcar comes complete with the huge file of invoices, original owners manual, new owner information booklet, paintwork care pamphlet and a service booklet, all in an original R-R wallet. There are also over 70 pages of Rolls-Royce Factory build records from the RREC archives and a CD Workshop manual. Since arriving back in the UK, earlier this year, the car has benefited from over £2. 600 in works, which included new drivers window motor + relay, overhaul of the ignition switch module and new "Bilstein" front shock absorbers and ball joints. This was a Factory upgrade in 1969, when the front "Self Levelling" was deleted by Rolls-Royce. The motorcar is offered complete with V5C, full Factory build records. Images of the original and the new shocks and top mounts are included in the gallery. It is rare to find such an early Silver Shadow in such amazing, corrosion free condition. This stunning 1968 Silver Shadow left the factory in March 1968 and was originally supplied to the Lenham Storage Co. Ltd on the 29th March 1968 and was specified with Sundym glass all round.
