Here is my 1950 Jowett Javelin Deluxe, owned by my family since 1963 and by me since 2006 it was restored by my grandfather in 1970. Since then it has never been stored outside or driven in the winter. Mechanically in very good order, the engine was rebuilt with an oval web crank by a Jowett specialist and still runs perfectly with exceptional oil pressure. It does not overheat even in heavy traffic on a hot day, last year it drove 320 miles in 9 hours with no issues at all. The bodywork is straight and has no rot at all but unfortunately the paintwork is what let's it down. The paint has turned very soft and has developed light colour patches in it, the photos make the paint look better than it is. The interior is all original, the front seat leather is showing its age but has wonderful patina. The rev counter is not original but I have the original clock that goes there. Included with the car will come several boxes of spare parts.
