In mid metallic blue with a light blue roof and interior.
First registered in May 1965 and showing only 60, 000 miles which is believed to be correct, this lovely Rapier runs the 1, 592cc engine with a four speed gearbox and overdrive. It is in superb order having had a bodywork overhaul in 1998 and having covered very little mileage since.
One owner kept the car from 1996 until 2021 as part of a collection. The interior is in original, unworn condition with just some fading to the driver's footwell showing the car's age. There is no wear and even the heel pad is unmarked.
The engine shows healthy oil pressure and the car drives beautifully with no rattles and tight suspension and steering. The brakes have been overhauled and new tyres are fitted all round.
The history file includes photos of the light bodywork repairs that were needed, the owner's Handbook and Service Book, some invoices and MOT certificates including one from 1988 at 56, 746 miles. Also included is a trophy from the Sunbeam Owner's club showing that the car was a Series IV Class winner at the 1998 National Rally!
