This Series IV from 1965 is in very good condition having been fully restored over 4 years from 2017. Including a bared metal respray and interior retrim, maintaining as much originality as possible.
Finished in Midnight Blue with a red interior, the car has been upgraded with a Weber carburettor conversion, a dynamator, and electronic ignition.
Owning other classics, the car has been used sparingly and fully maintained. It's time to move it on, so that it can be enjoy more use.
This Series IV from 1965 has the 1592cc engine and is the GT model, having a detachable hardtop rather than a folding fabric roof. Comes with a tonneau cover.
Used as a daily drive from 1965 until 1973, the original engine being replaced in 1970 by a new Rootes supplied engine. For whatever reason, the car then spent the next 44 years in dry storage.
Rescued in 2017 the car underwent an extensive renovation over the next 4 years by a dedicated enthusiast. Returning to the road in 2022. I then acquired the car in 2023.
