2002 R50 John Cooper Works Clubsport Mini Cooper Race Car
Restored over the past 18 months with many new panels full re paint in the original colour and original decals painstakingly re created, these original club sport challenge cars are now extremely rare with only a handfull known to survive, definately one to put away for the serious mini collector.
Road Legal as it was built for the original Mini Challenge (Currently not MOT'd due to only being used on track)
Still has its original JCW engine plate showing it as JCW Club Sport #37
Refreshed at the beginning of last year by Kev at Sussex Road and race who was the original builder when he was at JCW.
Had brakes refurbed and callipers painted all around
Handbrake cables replaced
Powerflex polybushes fitted
Full service and go-over
Very original Challenge spec:
Bilstein JCW suspension with tarmac springs (front end completely re-setup to allow more camber for better handling on track see photos, it handles ridiculously well)
Safety Devices JCW full roll cage
JCW Exhaust (stainless steel manifold, 92db so good for noise tests)
ECU tuned to go with the upgrades
Armtech Electrical cut off interior and exterior

Sparco Circuit seat (in date until 2024 with new MSUK lifing rules)
Sabelt 6 point harness (in date until 2022)
Plumbed in Lifeline 2. 25L Extinguisher - service due

Some spare BMW Mini Pepper Pot Alloy wheels with a selection of Dunlop Direzza 195/ 50/ 15 dry tyres and some odds and ends of spare trims.
Currently has an MSA logbook for both sprint races and stage rallies. Eligible for lots of series: Celtic Speed Scottich Mini Cooper Cup, 750MC, tin tops, MSN Circuit Rally Championship to name a few.
A very useable competitive car.
