Finished in smoked silver, with black leather interior, this rare colour combination works extremely well. This example is in superb condition, and comes with hard roof and stand, wind deflector with Mercedes storage case, and will be sold with full comprehensive history and service file. It was recently serviced by a well known Dublin Mercedes specialist, and benefited from a spend in excess of €4000 to make it right. All receipts are present, and far too much to outline here in terms of works completed. The 300SL is the most desirable of the 107 models, as the smooth straight six engine packs lots of power, whilst providing a smooth ride, with oceans of comfort. These cars are shooting up in price, and the UK prices are through the roof due to the demand and availability of fine examples like this. In terms of condition, it is hard to fault with this car. The paintwork is immaculate, and the underneath is as good as it is possible to get. The interior leather is in excellent condition, with no cracks or tears in the sumptuous seats.
