Motodrome offer for sale this smart 1966 example of the ever-popular Land Rover Series II 88in 2. 25 petrol, this one in 7 seater station wagon spec, finished in Bronze Green with Limestone roof and wheels.
The subject of a 4 year body off chassis rebuild by the previous owner, spec wise this one has the tropical roof, overdrive, freewheel front hubs, bonnet mounted spare wheel, a matching set of Firestone 650x16 tyres, and a towbar.
Inside it has Smiths round heater, 3 deluxe seats across the front, and twin bench seats in the back.
Odometer reading 63000 miles, which, as the speedo isn’t currently working* we’ll have to say is ‘known incorrect’
It comes with a big file of bills from the restoration, which we’re told cost almost £10000 to bring to the standard you see here
Whilst it’s now MOT exempt, I’m pleased to say it’s MOT’d until the very end of August 2023. And of course it’s road tax, ULEZ, and LEZ exempt as well.
* on agreeing a deal and taking a deposit, it will go into our workshop for the speedo to be fixed, and the fuel gauge too as it currently permanently reads full.
