Bought as a rolling project. Bike has been professionally rewired with new reg/ rectifier. Also fitted with Dyna S ignition, coils and leads as well as a new battery. Delkovik 4-1 stainless exhaust. Recent service with valve clearance.
Bridgestone tyres in good condition. Original headlight replaced with modern one as it was delaminating inside. Bike comes with a 2/ 4 seat which needs recovering and the one fitted which is a pattern copy of the original.
Rear shaft seals have been replaced due to a leak. Unfortunately the front one is now leaking. I bought the bike with the idea of improving bits to make it reliable so I could ride and enjoy it and have traveled over 3000 trouble free miles. Bike is registered tax and MOT exempt but has an MOT until 05/ 05/ 23. Unfortunately I've started to get hip problems and the GS is a big heavy thing and getting harder to move about, hence the sale.
