The Mitsubishi 3000GT is a front engine all-wheel/ front-wheel drive sports car built from 1990 to 2000. Manufactured in Nagoya, Japan, the car was marketed in the Japanese domestic market as the GTO, and the 3000GT globally. Mitsubishi unveiled the car to compete with the Mazda Cosmo, Nissan 300ZX, Subaru SVX, and the Toyota Supra. The car dropped the GTO name internationally because Mitsubishi was concerned auto enthusiasts would object to GTO name, known primarily with the Ferrari 250 GTO and Pontiac GTO, being used on a Japanese car.
This genuine UK-delivered Twin-Turbo charged, six-speed model was purchased by the previous vendor in 2003 at 62, 000 miles, and enjoyed for a further 5 or so years before being stored before ownership passed to our current vendor in 2021. The Mitsubishi is offered with original service, owner’s handbooks and UK V5C, a recent minor service and new MoT Certificate.
