Production of the 110 version of the P4 ran for just two years between 1962 and 1964, with just over 4, 500 made. Representing the end of an era for one of the UK’s well-loved family saloons they featured Rover’s lovely sounding 2. 6-litre engine. This two-tone example was originally sold by a dealer in Maidstone, Kent. 4660 KP is in fantastic condition, having previously been restored to a high standard and there are just two previous owners on the logbook. The all-round condition would make any classic car enthusiast proud, and it seems to run and drive just as well. It even has a fresh MOT valid until January 2024 despite being exempt from requirement.
Much of the restoration was carried out around 2013 including any rust cut from the shell and replaced with replacement panels which is documented through both images and paperwork in the history file. Many of the parts in this period were supplied by Bartram Land Rover of Accrington. A substantial amount of effort was also put into the paintwork with receipts included. The car still presents very well. In addition to a current logbook, the sale also includes the two history files which include other documents such as a heritage certificate, previous agreed valuations, old MOT certificates as well as parts and servicing receipts. The owners have evidently been part of the owners’ club during their journey with this vehicle.
Estimate: £5, 000 - 8, 000
